National Service Scheme (NSS)
To extend the knowledge and expertise for the betterment and welfare of the community the Bundelkhand University has built a strong network of extension and outreach activities. The University’s NSS department is instilling values of social awareness and responsibility, selfconfidence, respect for work, brotherhood and selfless service amongst the students.
The NSS is active in the University and its affiliated colleges since its inception and have regularly organized;
- Blood Donation Camps
- Blood Group Testing
- Eye Checkup Preventive
- Medicare and Immunizations for the local community and villagers.
- NSS volunteers also participate in the fight against;
TB AIDS COVID-19 (helped district administration during COVID and converted the hostels and other accommodation into special COVID treatment wards and quarantine Centres. About 80 such activities were organized by the NSS during last five years.
