Board of Management
Bundelkhand University, Jhansi is a prestigious State Public University, established in 1975 under the Bundelkhand University Act by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university operates under the overall supervision and constitutional authority of the Hon’ble Chancellor, who is the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.

Executive Council
The Executive Council serves as the principal executive authority of the university. It plays a critical role in the administration, policy implementation, and coordination of the university’s various functions. It ensures the smooth functioning of all academic and administrative operations and implements decisions in accordance with the statutes and state policies.
Key responsibilities include:
Execution of decisions and policies approved by statutory authorities.
Administration of academic, financial, and personnel matters.
Oversight of appointments, service conditions, and infrastructural development.
Facilitating collaborations, reforms, and innovations in line with national education frameworks.
Academic Council
The Academic Council is the highest academic body of the university. It is entrusted with maintaining academic standards, introducing new courses, and promoting research and innovation.

Approval of curricula, academic regulations, and evaluation methods.
Recommendation of academic collaborations and interdisciplinary programs.
Monitoring of academic performance and faculty development initiatives.
Boards of Studies (BoS)
Each faculty/department at Bundelkhand University has its own Board of Studies, consisting of internal faculty and external subject experts. The BoS is primarily responsible for the academic development within the respective discipline.
