Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Avinash Chandra Pandey, Bundelkhand University continues to make significant strides in academic excellence, institutional innovation, and societal engagement. During this academic year, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) led major initiatives such as ISO certification, institutional audits, biometric attendance implementation, and campus-wide geo-tagging of over 32,000 trees and infrastructure points. The university strengthened its commitment to sustainability by operationalizing a 40 MW rooftop solar plant, expanding its herbal and botanical gardens, and implementing effective waste and water management systems.
Academically, the university witnessed robust participation from departments across disciplines, hosting over 50 seminars, national conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs. Several departments initiated funded research projects, industry partnerships, and interdisciplinary collaborations. The university also continued to foster innovation and entrepreneurship through its Bundelkhand University Active Startup Incubation Council (BASIC), which supported more than 18 startups and secured ₹1.5 crore in government funding.
In terms of social outreach, Bundelkhand University made impactful contributions by adopting five villages under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, launching a water testing facility for rural areas, and supporting 100 tuberculosis patients under the national TB Mukt Bharat campaign. The NSS and NCC units, along with student-led clubs, played a pivotal role in organizing community drives, health awareness camps, and educational campaigns.
The university also signed strategic MoUs with national and international institutions, including IIT Kanpur (as a Virtual Lab Regional Centre) and Himachal Pradesh Tourism Corporation, enhancing its academic and cultural exchanges.
