All the engineering and science departments have established advanced research facilities during the last 5 years. As per the new Ph.D. ordinance the incumbent is required to publish atleast 2 papers before submission. The University has as on date over 2 dozen research projects ongoing.

The University encourages the faculty to bring funds through various research projects. The funding facilitates acquisition of lab and other infrastructure for the subject department

The University has provision for following facilities for smooth implementation of research projects:

• Advancing funds for sanctioned projects
• providing seed money
• Simplification of procedures related to sanctions / purchases to be made by the investigators.
• Autonomy to the principal investigator/coordinator for utilizing overhead charges
• Timely release of grants.
• Timely auditing
• Submission of utilization certificate to the funding authorities
