Bundelkhand University, Jhansi has established the Campus Cyber Cell as an institutional initiative to promote cyber awareness, digital safety and responsible use of technology across the university community. The Cell is a student-led initiative functioning under faculty guidance and institutional supervision. It provides students with a structured platform to learn about cyber security participate in awareness activities and contribute to creating a safer digital environment on campus. The increasing use of digital platforms for education, communication, research, examinations, financial transactions and everyday activities has made cyber awareness an important aspect of university life. The Cell therefore focuses on practical awareness of common digital risks, including online financial fraud, phishing, identity theft, social-media security, cyberbullying, privacy concerns and misuse of digital platforms. Through workshops, expert interactions, training programmes, awareness campaigns and student-led outreach, the Cell seeks to develop informed and responsible digital citizens. It also provides an avenue for students to strengthen their leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities through meaningful participation in cyber-safety initiatives. Where appropriate, the Cell facilitates awareness and coordination with local police cyber cells and other competent authorities, particularly where an incident requires formal reporting or external assistance.

Student participation is central to the functioning of the Campus Cyber Cell. Students are encouraged to contribute to:

Through these activities, students can strengthen their understanding of cyber security while developing leadership, communication, teamwork and responsible digital citizenship.
